Be a part of history in the making! Please join over 60 CEO’s, Entrepreneurs, Business Professionals and Academic Leaders who are coming together to discuss, debate and provide their insights into what it takes to transform a concept or invention into a thriving business. The Summit is being hosted by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Tech Park and Emerging Ventures Ecosystem (formerly the RPI Incubator) which has helped grow some of the region’s most successful companies. Each BOSS speaker will address a hot topic critical to business success in 5 minutes or less.
Discussing real world challenges and solutions, these leaders will reveal how they pivoted their way to prosperity through seven key stages every successful business must eventually “pivot” through. At BOSS 2013, a user-friendly Innovation Framework will be presented, providing participants with a roadmap and process for accessing Ecosystem resources to accelerate business, product or process innovation and growth. At BOSS 2013, learn from the leaders to Master the Pivot! And while you’re at it…why not change the world?

BOSS 2013 Speaker Updates
“…Education in entrepreneurship continues to thrive across all five Rensselaer schools. Our faculty, students, and staff actively embrace a culture of discovery, innovation, and collaboration. They invent, design, build, and start new companies in the communities that surround us.”
“The Business Opportunities to Success Summit will enable Rensselaer to reaffirm our commitment to innovation and technological entrepreneurship in the region, and highlight the productive partnerships that we have developed with academic institutions, industry, government, and other entities that promote entrepreneurship.”
Thomas E. D’Ambra Ph.D., President and CEO, Albany Molecular Research, Inc. (AMRI) will be unable to participate in BOSS 2013 due to an unexpected schedule conflict. Dr. D’Ambra sends his best wishes for BOSS:
“I believe this one-of-a-kind conference will benefit every attendee, from the inventor with an idea, to the entrepreneur just starting a company, to the CEO leading a growing company. We need more opportunities like this to learn from one another and possibly create linkages to work together.”
